Velator reserve

Couple of Chiffchaffs and at least 12 Bullfinches! Late on I was clearing some brambles and gave up at about 4  - too cold! Looked out and saw what looked  like a House Martin flying along the western edge of the reserve. However closer inspection revealed a Swallow with a slightly truncated tail. As I got back to the river it had followed me and hawked up and down under both bridges for a while. I see it was seen earlier too! First time I've seen a Swallow in December.
