Exminster Marshes

Spent most of Friday and this morning on the Marshes and enjoyed the vast numbers of winter birds - particularly during High Tide.  Reading the various posts from other birders who also visited, I think they've covered most birds I saw.  But thought I'd mention this little Firecrest who turned up amongst 3 Goldcrests in the hedgerow near the Motorway bridge, by the Canal.

(Eds - Jo, it is actually a Goldcrest - it lacks the white supercilium of a Firecrest.)
