Torbay boat trip this morning

Due to strong winds and drizzle the boat ran a reduced route out from Paignton to just short of Berry Head and back. Quite a few gannets and kittiwakes were sheltering in the bay and fulmars back at the Broadsands colony. 4 great northern divers scattered along the route, 3 great crested grebes, 4 (possibly 5) black necked grebes and 2 slavonian grebes at Broadsands, 7 common scoter at the Churston mussel farm, 1 Little Auk flying east off Shoalstone, also 11+ razorbill and 1 guillemot. Common shorebirds included turnstones, oystercatchers, herons at the Chuston roost and a little egret.
