The Red-necked Grebe was still present in Elberry Cove this morning also 1 Great Crested Grebe and 18 Common scoter off the headland there.

Worryingly, for the first time since a voluntary agreement was put in place about 10 years ago to protect the bays wintering seabird diving bird population (Roundham Headland to Seven Quarries end of Oct - end of March) a fisherman was taking in and setting mono filament gill nets in the Elberry cove area, I am working on the best way forward. This was not the fisherman we worked with initially to organise the agreement,  who has been brilliant.
