Velator

Morning cutting up trees, and trying to count mobile smallish Finch flocks. Good numbers of Gold and Chaffinch, fewer Greenfinch.  A small number of Redwings. Pick of the bunch were a Reed Bunting, and a Siskin. No repeat of the Kingfisher from yesterday.

Out on the scrape, 175 Godwits, Little Egret, Pied Wagtail (uncommon at this time of year) and the Green Sandpiper also reappeared.
