East. Prawle.

A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF  ringed this morning at Moorwell Pond. This individual had all the plumage characteristics of classic Eastern ' tristis '. No olive tones at all to the mantle, upper or lower back. A slight olive hue to the rump and upper tail coverts  Strong buff tones to the undertail coverts, flanks, breast, cheeks and supercillum  Dull olive fringes to the flight and tail feathers. A delightful bird.  Also on site 2 nominate Chiffchaffs and 1 m. Blackcap.
