Braunton Great Field

I was cycling along the Tarka trail this morning & was asked by a young lady if I could identify some photos taken on her mobile phone of 4 large grey birds with long necks on Braunton Great Field on Friday 11/11/2016 at 14.30. She said there was something unusual about them, not something she had seen before.

Sure enough they were the same 4 Common Cranes that flew in to roost at Horsey Island at dusk last night which Rob Barnes spotted & photographed!
