R. Caen, Braunton

An early morning walk down the R. Caen flushed a Short-eared Owl.

Ebbing tide just after high produced a few Lapwing, Curlew, Redshank and Turnstone. A Sparrowhawk was hunting the bank moved a cross the field towards the pumping station.

All birds were flighty due to the wind.
