Yelland Pond, Taw Estuary

The bird we originally reported as a Paddyfield Warbler was reidentified from photos as a likely Great Reed Warbler. It finally reappeared for a group of assembled birders at about 16.20 and showed very well in excellent light, confirming ID as Great Reed Warbler. At north-west corner of the pond. A great (literally) bird for Devon; hope nobody was too disappointed! Tim Davis & Tim Jones
