Sometimes you just get lucky!

Saw the post about the Caspian Tern this morning but couldn't get away. On driving down to Horsey Island this evening I did a quick stop to jump out and peer over the embankment to view the flood in case the pelican or other stuff was in there. I raised my glasses to check an odd looking gull and yes first bird I focus on the Caspian Tern. Had close views as it circled over the flood for a few minutes, a very impressive bird and easy to ID on size alone. Also 3 Spoonbills, two adults and one Juv. The adults were ringed with one red over light blue and the other seeming to have green with a yellow tag. Also Blackwits, Egrets, Herons, Redshank, Greenshank, Curlew, Teal, Kingfisher, Dabchick, 2 Snipe overhead and all the regulars. Pelican was report further up the estuary.
