Dog walk 5-6pm, high tide. Off the cricket club on the sea, exactly 100 Brent Geese! 400+ Oystercatcher in a tight roost of mixed waterbirds (Curlew, Grey Heron, Little Egret, Teal, Redshank) on the point by the Power Station jetty. Kingfisher flushed from gas/oil jetty, also a Wheatear here. Was on lookout for Redwings but none showed, so some consolation that I found in a mobile flock (Long-tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Chaffinch, Reed Bunting) the local mega of a Willow Tit!
