Bowling Green Marsh

Long-tailed duck found on the Marsh this afternoon, about 3 pm.  Female, as last winter (love to know whether it's the same bird!).  No sign in previous half hour, so probably came in with some waders arriving just before high tide.  Moving around main pool, under surface more than above, still present at about 4.40 pm.

Otherwise, much as seen in recent days, including 1 ruff, 2 spotted redshank, 1 curlew sand, 1 knot, 50+ avocets.
