Bowling green marsh
Watched from the hide 09:20 till 13:30
a very good morning with the juv curlew sandpiper, 1 juv ruff, 4 golden plover were the first of the autumn, 819+ black tailed godwits was a great sight they were flushed many times by at least 2 sparrowhawks, 2 kestrel and 3+ buzzards, 44 avocets, 21+ bar tailed godwits, 120+ dunlin, 100+ redshank, 4 greenshanks, 41+ lapwing, 15+ snipe, 7+ little egret, 5+ little grebe, 3 pochard, 4 tufted duck, 103+ wigeon, 2 Cetti's warblers, 2 blackcaps , 40+ teal, 4+ shoveler 6+ pied wagtails.
There was good movement north / north west with 19+ jay and 886+ jackdaw including groups of 180+, 170+ and 135+ with the peak between 11:00 and 12:30 , 120+ starling , 200+ wood pigeon 2 redpoll , also over severall Siskin and chaffinch groups.
