Slapton and Prawle

The Wryneck was seen again at various times during the day along Slapton  beachfront , north of trhe bridge,  although I didn't catch up with it until later afternoon. A plea to photographers-this bird was being approached perhaps too closely at times-please give it some distance. Woodlark reported overhead early am and a Bittern reported from Strete Gate. A Grass Snake was sunbathing by the roadside.

At Prawle late am-early pm, some vis mig still happening including 300+Woodpigeon and  10-15 Stock Dove, a few Linnet and Meadow Pipit, 20+Siskin. Red Admiral butterflies very noticeable with 300+ seen. Roy Williams saw a ringtail Hen Harrier pass over eastward. Small numbers of Goldcrests around but still no Firecrests.
