Ringing this morning was slow: No Long-tailed Tits, but 4 Coal Tits! 2 Blackcaps and Chiffchaff, Best (or beast) of the day was a very noisy and aggressive adult Jay - caught in exactly the same net as the last Jay here. Back at the reserve this evening a very large flock of Starlings arrived in a tremendous whoosh sounding like a blast of wind! They quickly departed.
