Ilfracombe

At last light today a dark juv Glaucous Gull was being mobbed by Herring Gulls off Beacon Point.

On Woolacombe / Putsborough beach the cold weather has brought in 150+ Common Gulls, about 75 at either end of the Sands. One individual was noticeably darker similar to a Lesser Black Backed Gull. At Morte Point, Red-throated Diver numbers up to about 9 and a small Grebe which I think was a Red-necked were feeding in the slack water behind Morte stone.
