Slapton Ley

Ring-Necked Duck, Scaup, Black-Necked Grebe and 2 Goldeneye all seen from the Stokeley Bay Hide.  Good numbers of Tufted Duck and Pochard also present. 

Nearby, the Yellow-Browed Warbler dropped in at the usual site close to the Chapel at 13.05.  It was calling, mobile and showed well for 2-3 minutes before flying off back down the road and into gardens towards Torcross.   

At Torcross, 2 Razorbills close in.

Later at 15.00, a showy Firecrest at the Quarry.  A further Goldeneye and 10+ Wigeon and 10+ Gadwall in Ireland Bay.  Calling Song Thrush (and a further skulking individual), mixed tit flock, Goldcrest and GSW also noted.
