Stover at dawn

No Goosanders today for the coordinated count in Devon. However, a new Stover bird for me: a drake Wigeon whistling away in the gloom. Excellent views of Water Rail right in front of the hide, and Cetti's Warbler nearby (called when it roused at 7:40). Also 2 pairs of Mandarins, 8 Tufted, 2 Snipe calling, Stock Dove singing and Tawny Owl hooting near the visitor centre - still going at 7:35!).
