This morning 22 members from the E Devon branch walked round Black Hole Marsh taking in views across Colyford Common in cloudy, cold conditions.  A total of 43 species were seen, including  5 Snipe on the lagoon and 3 Little Grebe on the river.  Three female Reed Bunting were seen near the viewing platform and 1 Common Gull on the river with few Curlew  and no Godwit sp..  A reasonable start to the 2019 year list.
