South Milton Reserve - Reed Cut

Many thanks to all who turned out today to help with the reed cut at South Milton. In all we had around 30 volunteers from Devon Birds, the National Trust and South Milton parish. Rory Sanders drove the reed cutter and with such a good turnout we kept pace with him this year. It was exhausting work as usual but we manged to clear a decent area by noon when we called it a day.

We will be down at the Reserve for another session on 21 January and hope to have an equally good turnout – see Society News webpage for details. We will again be working the area near the boardwalk.
