Chapel Wood

It seemed like spring was in the air this morning with a balmy 14 degrees! Great Spotted Woodpecker pair displaying and mating , Treecreepers/Nuthatch displaying and Ravens doing the same. The wood seemed full of birds with Goldcest, Blue, Great, Coal and Long Tailed Tits, Song Thrush, Fieldfare overhead, hundreds of Jackdaw, Buzzard. Pheasants also displaying. Green, Gold, Bull and Chaffinch in attendence with Wrens, Sparrows, Robins, Blackbird all singing and lively. Green Woodpecker heard but not seen.
