No sign of the American wigeon on Bowling Green Marsh this afternoon but it could have been there behind a bank or asleep. Hundreds of wigeon to look through. Very few waders at high tide (Avocets, Lapwing, Snipe and 1 Black-tailed godwit). Guess most waders are using Exminster Marshes. Also little on the river from the viewing platform (6 Red-breasted mergansers). Cattle egret and Jack snipe at Highfield Farm most definitely the day's highlights.
