Bradiford Reserve & Penhill Marsh

A cycle down the Tarka Trail to Penhill Marsh on The Taw Estuary this morning at high tide.

On Bradiford Reserve there were 18 Black tailed Godwits & 600 Lapwing.

On arriving at the east end of Penhill Marsh a flock of 376 Brent Geese were feeding on the area of saltmarsh shown in the photo.Approx 100 metres or so to the west of this photo in the saltmarsh were several Canada Geese decoys with 2 camo shooters & 1 dog in a ditch. One shot was fired & the Brent Geese took flight & spent the next hour or so on the water as shown in the photo. This activity is disturbing the  Brent Geese & preventing them from feeding. The 2 shooters & 1 dog were in the saltmarsh all morning.

Can anything be done about this?
