Brixham
Ventured down to Brixham this morning with James Mc. White-billed aside, what a fantastic array of divers and grebes, with most showing extremely well. The White-billed Diver was the true star of course, showing along the nearest channel to the path in the inner harbour soon after our arrival, and it was a pleasure to watch it alongside its finder - well done Bill! Single Slav and Red-necked and two Black-necked Grebes were viewable from the AstraZeneca car park along with the Iceland Gull.
On the way back we stopped off at Decoy Lake, had the drake Scaup alongside a drake Gadwall and surprisingly two Black-necked Grebes!
