Thurlestone Bay

Cold night resulted in both marshes being frozen.-Compared with yesterday nothing offshore

On T'stone Marsh- 46 Wigeon , 35 Teal, 9 Shoveler, 26 Gadwall, 2 Pintail, 20 Snipe . 1 Black Redstart in a local garden.

On South huish Marsh (70% frozen )-  60 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 2 Wigeon, 125 + Snipe, 2 Grey Plover, 1 Ringed Plover, 2 Lapwing + 55 over east, Brief views of a male Hen Harrier over flying west. In the copse 15 Redwing, 1 Fieldfare.

On the rocks / beaches - 3 Sanderling, 3 Turnstone, 1 Ringed Plover.

A walk round the top end of South Milton Ley flushed singles of Woodcock and Snipe. Also 12 Chiffchaff, Cettis warbler, with 17 Lapwing over.
