South Efford Marsh Aveton Gifford
Decided to take a look around but I managed to get the directions wrong at first. Perhaps worth restating -when you get to the metal gate into the meadow, opposite South Efford House, you go through then turn immediately right and follow the inside of the hedge along a muddy track, until you get to a wooden gate. Pass by the gate onto the raised embankment path, which leads down eventually past the pools to the sluice gate at bottom end. Same species around as reported by others recently - Common and Green Sandpiper, Kingfisher, Water Pipits (up to 3 reported again), 3 Snipe, 2 Egyptian Geese, 2 Teal, 10 Wigeon.
