Exminster Marshes

A small gull roost on the marsh, 3 fields north of the Turf, has started to form at high tide. A real sign of summer and the end of the breeding season for some birds. Amongst the 30 gulls were an adult Med gull and a single great black-back gull. Otherwise a few curlew on the estuary and a flock of c20 house martins feeding in the lee of the trees on Station Road.
