Prawle 13 January
Belated news from 13 January: American Buff-bellied Pipit still with Rock Pipits at the eastern end of the beach near Maelcombe House, usually close to the slipway. Could be picked out easily by naked eye: it would be the bird chased off by Rock Pipits! Also 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls.
Later, 6 Goldeneye (2 drakes) at Slapton (Torcross end).
