Glossy Ibis in Fremington Pill

18/08/19, 11:28; The Glossy Ibis which has been a regular at Fremington Pill for a few years now was showing nicely on the falling tide. It appeared to toss tiny snails (a la Avocet diet?) down it's throat having extracted them from the gloopy mud with it's bill tip. Great skills!! The Common Sandpiper seen in the background appeared to be watching with keen interest.
