Matford - Kenton

Matford - Green Sandpiper, a singing Treecreeper, more singing Willow Warblers (I assume these are passage birds using the Exe valley as a migration corridor), several Sand Martins, and my first Swallows of the year, but no Cattle Egrets.

Exminster - No Garganey, but a fly-over Yellow Wagtail, more Sand Martins, the Sedge Warbler singing near the fisherman's car park again, two Barnacle Geese, a Peregrine on the pylons, many Shelduck and Curlew (but still no Whimbrel), and three late Pintail.

Starcross - Kenton - many "singing" Red-legged Partridge in the arable land and my first House Martins of the year.
