Spoonbill

Fine weather today, just out walking along the Kingsbridge Estuary, 3 Green Shank in Bowcombe Creek, then round the corner near the where the slipway is just below the Warren Road, Embankment Road junction, at about 13.00hrs feeding at low tide in the main channel was a Spoonbill. Also Wigeon, Teal, Shelduck, Redshank, Curlew, and Oyster Catcher. We returned about 14.00 hours and it was still there. We went onto Torcross, on the shingle bank at the southern end of The Ley, where the BH Gulls like to rest, in amongst them was a Mediterranean Gull, very close view.
