Exminster Marsh Sunday 3rd

Excellent visit to the marsh at midday. Alive with vast numbers of wigeon, lapwings and all the usual.  Highlights were four snipe showing well near Lions Rest, several redwings and fieldfares, four barnacle geese flew in from estuary, kingfisher very active at Turf and on the way back superb views of the marsh harrier causing mayhem to the flocks of waders and geese.
