Ashburton & South Brent

River Dart Country Park, Ashburton 10 plus Mistle Thrush feeding on Rowan berries around the main car park, small flock of Goldcrest, three Buzzards high overhead interacting with each other possibly adults birds with a  dependant youngster.

This evening my first South Brent Hobby of the year today seen from home hunting insects high over the Forder Valley was in view for at least 15 mins followed shortly afterwards by a flock of 30 plus high flying Swifts over the house feeding on insects, then had a steady passage of Swifts over the area for the next 45 mins or so.
