Velator

Had a new species while ringing in the reserve this morning. Unfortunately it was a Frog!. Left in the net by the Tawny Owl I heard in the half light. Makes a change - it's usually half a Rat!

The only evidence of migration were two Goldcrests ringed early on and a Chiffchaff seen shortly before leaving.

The resident Canada Geese have arrived to claim the pond for another season.
