Meldon Reservoir and West Okement River Valley

4 Cuckoos (3 males and a grey morph female), 5 Wheatear (4 males and a female), 4 Grey Wagtails, Pied Wagtail, Kestrel, 2 Ravens, Mistle Thrush, 4 Stonechats, Blackbird, Skylark, 10+ Meadow Pipits.  Linnets, Willow Warblers and Redstarts calling.

Detour home via Dawlish Warren for the E Subalpine Warbler.  Arrived at 5.00pm.  At 5.50pm after much skulking, singing and alarm calling from cover, the bird became mobile and more showy.  Eventually flew out into the open for a couple of minutes and sung its heart out for the three remaining birders.
