Bowling Green Marsh

This morning at Bowling Green the Green Sandpiper was still there, on the opposite side of the water from the hide. The most impressive bird today by far would be a 1st Winter Little Gull which did not really settle down apart from when it was preening in with the Redshanks.

Other birds include: pintail, grey heron, shoveler, gadwall, little egret, teal, wigeon, coot, curlew, black-headed and herring gulls, pied wagtail, black-tailed godwit, sand martin, tufted duck, shelduck, redshank, canada geese, wood pigeon, robin, blackbird and greenfinch.
