When I returned this morning at about 9.15 the Spoonbill and all the Godwits had gone, along with the Shelduck and pretty much everything else too.
In the reserve the pair of Chiloé Wigeon on the pond, and the first singing Chiffchaff and a Small Tortoiseshell. Later the Sand Martins came over in some numbers (25+) but no sign of a Swallow.
Back over by the scrape all the Gulls were shouting at something and it turned out to be a Fox, which probably ended up going into the reserve.
