Brixham 2.1.16

A good day to check the mooring ropes on my boat at Brixham Marina today. As reported by Nigel at 11am, lots of Great Northern Diver everywhere from the Inner harbour to the slip at the Breakwater. Most were feeding well on crabs and as Nigel has not yet posted a photo, here is one I took. Lots of obliging turnstones narrowly avoiding the pedstrians and vehicles. A bright red breasted merganser from the AZ carpark to add to the species count and a few guillemot as well
