Wembury

A water pipit feeding on the seaweed mass near the sewage pipe this morning with rock- and meadow pipits, allowing good comparisons. Very aggressive towards nearby rock pipits but mostly tolerated nearby meadow pipits.

Otherwise quiet with a single gannet offshore, a kestrel and a buzzard overhead, a goldcrest in a hedgerow and a grey heron along the beach with a curlew, oystercatchers and mallards.

Nice to see a bit of blue sky and sunshine though despite the blustery wind.
