Broadsands and Bowling Green

A very good day today - down from north devon to broadsands waiting for dawn. On a mission to find Firecrest and Grebes.Within 10mins had the Firecrest briefly but pretty close in the carpark and then bumped into Mike Langman (always a good thing when you are looking for birds). Within 30mins had all three Red Necked, Black Necked and Slavonian so 4 new birds inside an hour. Great Northern Divers and all the regulars present. Spent some time looking for a possible Yellow Browed Warbler but no luck. On to Bowling green for high numbers of Wigeon with Avocet,Greylag, Redshank, Pintail, Shoveler,Teal, Gadwall and more. Might try Hartland Point early tomorrow as would really like a Great Skua and more divers.
