Exminster Marshes

Spent 1315-1500 enjoying the masses of birds on the marshes. Apart from the afomentioned American Wigeon, which spent its time on the Fishermans Car Pool there were huge numbers of waders. 230 Curlew, 500+ Black-tailed Godwits, 84 Bar-tailed Godwits, 770 Dunlin, 400 Golden Plover, 400+ Lapwings and 10+ Redshank. Ducks there were 60+ Teal, 20 Shoveler and 850+ Wigeon. And finally one Peregirne that made evrything fly around a lot, which at times was spectacular.
