Plymouth Parakeets
A cycle around Ford Park Cemetary and Inverdene didn't turn up any parakeets, but on passing through Victoria Park I heard that unmistakable squawk behind the bowling green. Closer inspection found an aviary with a mixture of parakeets and cockatiels inside. But sitting on top of the cage was one free-flying Ring-necked Parakeet.
In the cemetery a female Black Redstart was on the chapel roof, in the bushes a male Blackcap and good numbers of Redwing.
At home in Colebrook a Firecrest and Chiffchaff were in our hawthorn.
