River Tamar

Made a visit today to the River Tamar, admittedly we were on the Cornish side near Kingsmill Lake, but the species seen could well and probably do appear on the Devon side as well:

Avocets (about 150), Canada Geese (about 60), Curlews, Great Crested Grebe, Black-tailed Godwits (about 40), Herring |Gulls, Black-headed Gulls, Lapwings (about 40), Log-tailed Tits (about 10), Goldfinches (about 10), Robin, Wren, Blackbirds, Song Thrush, Mallards, Redshanks, Shelduck, Teal and Widgeon.

Weather was kind but sunny spells were in short supply and the wind was chilly.
