South Brent

A mornings birding at home with Keith Male gave us a total so far of 28 species the highlights being a Treecreeper and a count of 10 Goldcrest.

A flock of 50 plus very low flying Woodpigeons passed over the house headed west and although it may be a bit late in the season they struck me as migrating birds.

A Song Thrush showed for the first time this month small number of Redwing and Fieldfare in the field hedges.

A pair of Siskin (and possibly a second male) came in midmorning the first ones to come onto the garden feeders in some time.

Other species included Starling, Blackbirds,Dunnock, Wren, Long Tailed, Great, Blue and Coal Tits, Goldfinch, Greenfinch and Chaffinch. Overhead Raven and Herring Gulls.
