Cackling Goose

14.30 Cackling Goose at Manaton Marsh initially at the west end of the Marsh (near the thatched cottage) associating with a large group of Mallard. Also on the marsh usaul Teal etc. and Llittle Grebe. On the canal ponds one Snipe and a some Siskin in the hedgerow between the river and the Double Locks otherwise usual suspects. On the Northbrook no sign of the Dippers but first sightings of Kingfisher there for a long while.
