Woodpigeons over Sidmouth
35,750+ Woodpigeons moved West over Salcombe Hill, Sidmouth 7.45-11.30. Likely to be an conservative figure with almost constant movement along and below the cliff edge meaning that I no doubt missed some of the smaller flocks moving about half a mile inland. Flocks of 100+ still moving west when I finally dragged myself away.
Also, 4 Purple Sandpiper on Chit Rocks at first light and a Dartford Warbler on Salcombe Hill.
