Teigngrace ~ Cattle Egrets

The two Teigngrace reported Cattle Egrets were showing well this morning at first light in the flooded fields between Teigngrace Road and Exeter Road (junction of Teigngrace gate) feeding in the flooded fields along with six Little Egret and a Heron, also in the area a Green Woodpecker, Raven, Pied Wagtails, Meadow Pipit, nine Magpie and a large mobile flock of Black Headed Gulls.

The Cattle Egrets seem well settled and with luck they will remain in the area for a while.

A Kestrel flew across the A38 near Goodstone.

Ladies Wood, South Brent not overly productive but a mixed flock of Great Tits, Long Tailed Tits and Goldcrest, Jay and a large number of Jackdaws.

Back at home by 9am to find a Marsh Tit on the garden feeders for the third day in a row.
