Berry Head

The large fall of Goldcrests reported onTwitter yesterday by Mark Darlaston has perhaps been added to overnight. Groups totaling over 170 were counted from the Headland back toward the Berry Head Hotel and a further 50+ up the lane toward the Wardens bungalow. Nothing rare that I could find amongst them but 5 Firecrest, 2 Coal Tits, 3 Blackcap and 4 Chiffchaff added some more interest.

Seawatching - best bits:: 2 Great Skua, 2 Arctic Skua, 1 Pom/Arc Skua, 2 Balearic Shearwaters, 1 Manx Shearwater,  3 Shoveler, a Skylark and a Blackbird!

Overhead very quiet, 5 Skylark, 2 Swallow and the highlight being a Woodlark flying in toward Torbay.
