Downend, Baggy, Sherpa Marshes, Horsey Island

'A grain of Sanderlings' enjoying a well deserved rest this morning at Downend.

A few Wheatear (3 at Baggy) still passing through on migration.

The shooters were out again today, this morning at Sherpa Marshes & this aft at Horsey Island.

This has become a very unpopular activity with residents & visitors alike in this area who go out for a walk to enjoy the wildlife, fresh air & peace & quiet only to be interrupted by shotguns blasting away & birds falling from the sky. It is also bad for tourism & puts people off visiting the Marshes & the Estuary.
