Exmouth Mudbank & Bowling Green Marsh

Today (15-10-2015) the Black Brant was showing really well late morning from the Exmouth Mudbank Imperial Recreation Ground amongst c1000 Dark-bellied Brent Geese on the outgoing tide with the Ridway's Cackling Goose further out in middle of the estuary on the sandbar. Link to video.


Yesterday (Wed 14-10-2015) Bowling Green Marsh over morning high-tide. 47-Avocet, 1-Ruff, 1-Knot, 1-Spotted Reshank amongst the usual high numbers of other waders and 1-White Wagtail seen from the hide around left water channel. A brief glimpse of the Yellow Browed Warbler amongst a mobile group of c10 Long-tailed Tits near the viewing platform late morning.  Link to videos.
